Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Laiton Digital is a remote digital marketing business based in the United Kingdom. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it and what we do with it. You can contact us at any time at laitondigitalmarketing@gmail.com.

Information we collect

  • Lead forms and enquiries: when you complete a form on Facebook or Instagram, email us, message us or call us, we receive the details you give, such as your name, email address, phone number, Instagram handle, business type and what you want to achieve.
  • Client information: if you become a client, we also hold the business details and account access needed to provide the service.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies and does not collect personal data automatically.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and send the free social media audit you requested.
  • To arrange calls and discuss our services.
  • To deliver and manage our services if you become a client.

We only contact you about your enquiry or our services. We do not sell your information and we do not share it for other companies' marketing.

Our lawful basis

We process your information because you asked us to (consent and steps taken at your request before a contract), and for our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business.

Who else sees your information

Facebook and Instagram lead forms are run through Meta's platforms, so Meta processes the information you enter on them under its own policies. We use ordinary email and messaging tools to communicate with you. We do not pass your information to anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

If you do not become a client, we delete your enquiry details within 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as we work together and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and legal purposes.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to us using it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
